So what’s the deal with Roam IT? What is our “differentiator”?
Well there is a lot of things going on here that make us different, but lets start with one thing, and this applies to businesses of ALL sizes, I have seen this problem occur in huge enterprise businesses over and over again, and I see it every week with small businesses…. What am I talking about?
I am talking about “The way IT should be”
What we have is a whole bunch of IT services providers and freelance consultants running around doing IT “their way”, because they believe it is the “best” way to do IT (Some of them think their way is the ONLY way). So you engage with them and highlight your issues/requirements/projects, and guess what, out of all the possible solutions, it just so happens that the solution they offer up just happens to also be their “way” of doing IT.
So how are we different, well, for a start we actually do all kinds of different IT implementations, some cloud, some hybrid, some on premises, they all have their place and suit different businesses, we don’t have only one way of doing IT.
Many providers say they have considered different solutions for you, but they don’t really mean it. Most of them are only implementing one solution over and over again, so they just convince you that’s the best way it can be done “because that’s the way everyone does it” so therefore it must be the right way. Plus, they cannot really consider the other options for you if they aren’t regularly implementing them, as they don’t know how to design and cost alternative solutions, they only know ONE way to do IT, so they will propose and recommend that solution.
So we look at your business requirements and pick the right “way” for YOUR business. We explain why we think our solution will work for you over any other options, then it’s up to you decide if you think it makes sense.
I know that was a bit of a read, but we get really frustrated when we see businesses with poorly thought-out IT solutions that just really do not fit their business model or operations, it makes IT unpopular, and we hate that!
